Application/Instructions
1. New Volunteer Steps: Complete an ADDitions School Volunteer
online Application(an annual process) by going to http://volunteer.ocps.net
click on Mentoring Programs.
2. Existing Volunteer Steps: Update your ADDitions School Volunteer
online Application(an annual process) by going to http://volunteer.ocps.net
click on Mentoring Programs enter your Social Security Number and update any information
that has changed since last year.
3. Applicant will be notified of approval/disapproval status by the individual school volunteer
coordinator (application is processed and subject to a criminal history background check).
4. Upon approval applicant is contacted to receive orientation.
5. Mentor is matched with a student.
6. Begin mentoring!
You can download the ADDitions School Volunteer application from
our website. This application is required for all Orange County
Public Schools volunteers.
